Cricket: England Wins 3rd Test and series 2-1, Broad took his 500th Test Wicket

What a great finish of the series amid all issues happening outside cricket, The series which resume the International cricket after 117 days at Southampton and west indies straight away made it lively by winning the first test, ECB the England & Wales cricket board also deserves full appreciation for organizing the series by creating bio security bubble for the player of both of the teams.

England after loosing the first test put up a great fight not only won the 2nd test but the 3rd one as well and made the trophy on their name.

The series also became a memorable one for the 35 years Old English cricketer Stuart Broad who claimed his 500th Test wicket.

Muttiah Muralitharan For Sri Lanka, Anil Kumble for India & James Anderson for England took 500 or more test wickets ever before Stuart Broad whose father Chris Broad also played cricket for England and he is now a match referee in International cricket matches. His 500th Wicket came in the 5th day morning when he got the West Indies Opener Kraig Braithwate out LBW, This also made his country Nottinghamshire proud of producing such fine talent for England cricket.

Stuart Broad also got Man of the match award for his all round performance from bat and bowl for England he took 6 wickets in first Innings and 4 in the 2nd total of 10 wickets in the test match and also contributed with 67 runs in the first innings, he also got Player of the award for England while Roston Chase got the player of the series award for West Indies Side.

The Entire West Indies team got out for 129 runs in the 2nd innings looking to chase 399 runs they lost the test match by 270 runs.

Shai Hope was the top run scorer for West Indies with 31 runs, While Chris Woakes took most wickets for England as he got 5 wickets for 50 runs in 11 over.

Now England will look forward to 3 one day matches with Ireland starting 30th August and followed by series with Pakistan at home as Pakistan cricket team is already in England.
